Karma is an unreleased studio album by Taylor Swift. It was intended to be released during Autumn of 2016 through Big Machine Records as her sixth studio album, however, it was scrapped, because she went into hiding due to the media. She then instead released reputation on November 10th 2017. The album was leaked in full on July 24th 2019. Lyrically, it has themes of revenge, anger, sexual desire, adulthood, and breakups.

Background[]
In the Spring of 2016 Swift began teasing her sixth studio album by bleaching her hair and doing a photoshoot with Vogue with a brand new aesthetic. Many fans expected the album to be released that Autumn. However, the album was later scrapped due to her controversies. Swift then came back in August 2017 with the single Look What You Made Me Do from her new sixth studio album reputation. In the music video for the single, Swift pays homage to Karma by spray painting "TS6" on a plane and cutting off the wings, symbolizing that the album was ready to be released, but was pulled back before it could.
Swift then pays homage to Karma again in her music video for The Man. One scene in the video features the titles of her first six studio albums spray painted on a wall. With them is the word "Karma", which is written twice.
