Seashore is the 12th studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It released on May 29, 2026 through Republic Records. Sonically it is an indie folk and alternative rock album. Lyrically it deals with themes of heartbreak, grief, and nostalgia. When she announced the album on social media, Swift confirmed that seashore is the third sister album to 2020's folklore and evermore albums.

Swift announced the album on May 28, 2026 in a social media post. She confirmed that it was the third sister album to 2020's folklore and evermore albums and would release at midnight.
In a live Q&A before the release, Swift revealed that the third sister album actually wasn't planned. Instead, it happened naturally. She found herself sending song ideas to Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff, who would then add lyrics or show her a production idea they came up with. They didn't realize that they working making an album until Justin Vernon and Lana Del Rey got involved.
The track sandcastles served as the lead single. The music video was a sequel to the willow music video. Sandcastles received positive reviews and commercial success. It debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for 3 weeks.
The tracks dried roses (ft. Lana Del Rey) and empathy (ft. Bon Iver) were sent to the adult alternative radio the weeks following the release of seashore.
